  4. I am a very lucky recipent of one of your postcards :) (Live the Life you've Imagined) I am in awe!! WOW!! Thank you soooo much!! I would love to know how you achieved some of the paint work and stencil effects. Do you have specialist products. There is not much in the way of the wonderful products and supplies you lucky ducky's over there get compared to what is available in little country (out bush) Australia. I'm soo jealous and so impressed with your work. Thank you once again Jean for such a lovely postcard. You definately have a gift.

    1. Hi Deanne..I am so happy you like my postcard. To make it I used chip board from a cereal box. I gessoed it then appied book text and scrapbook paper with Liquitex Matte Medium. I then sprayed with Ranger Color mists and then stamped it with Donna Downey's stamps and I also applied texture with paint and a a stamp that looks like chicken wire. I coated the card with Matt Medium. I put Tim Holtz metal corners (which I won on his blog..thank you Tim) on each corner. Hope this is clear:)

    3. I ordered it from Scarlet Lime but they do not have it anymore. I found it here http://www.7kidscollegefund.com/CHICKEN_WIRE_PRIMA_CLEAR_STAMPS_p/pr536275.htm
It's a Prima Clear Stamp. The Donna Downey stamps I order from here website http://www.donnadowney.com/shop/home.php?cat=14
      Hope this helps. Happy Creating:)

  5. Hi Jean, I too am a very happy recipient of one of your cards! I love my quote ..."in dreams we catch glimpses of life larger than our own". How true is that!!! Love the vibrant colour and the recycling of the book pages...I totally believe that we can make recycling beautiful art! I agree with Deanne and would love to get a how-to or a short step-by-step of what you did to achieve the effects you did!
    Cheers

    1. Hi Brenda... I am so happy you liked my card. To make it I used chipboard from a cereal box and covered it with gesso. I than applied book text with Liquitex Matte medium and then sprayed it with Ranger Color wash sprays. I sprayed a tag too! I then stamped with Stazon ink using Donna Doweny stamps and added texture with paint and a "chicken wire" stamp. I glued the tag with matte meduim and I then covered the whole card with matte medium. This has been such a fun swap:)
