April Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! We will be featuring April's SOTM, which is Blessed, a set of 12 stamps. I had so much fun playing with this set.
If you have come here from Paige Dolecki's Blog, you are on the right path! If this is your first stop, you may want to go back to Helen's Blog and start from the beginning! This month we have close 60 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

Here is a card I made:

I used the following products to make this card:

D1455 - April SOTM Blessed
X7134B - Sweetheart Level 2 Paper Pack
1336 - Black Cardstock
1385 - White Cardstock
Z2160 - Blush Stamp Pad
Z2190 - Gypsy Stamp Pad
Z2128 - Hollyhock Stamp Pad
Z891 - VersaMark Stamp Pad
Z669 - Silver Embossing Powder
Z1335 Licorice Opaques Adhesive Gems

For the background I used a technique I learned from Stamp TV called Parisian Embossed Background.  Click here to watch the video.

Now hop on over to Kathleen Androlewicz's Blog.

Here are a couple of other cards I made using this set:

Hope For Japan

The following are direct words from Jeanette Lynton, CEO of Close To My Heart:

"We've all been reeling with the images of tragedy and devastation in Japan. If you're looking for an easy, real, practical way to help relief efforts, then I invite you to contact your Close To My Heart Consultant!

Typically, our A-sized sets retail for $7.95/$8.95 CAN, but the "Hope for Japan" set will be available through April 30 for just $5--and Close To My Heart will be donating 100% of the profits to the American Red Cross to benefit relief efforts in Japan.

If we all do a little, together we can do a lot. Let's show our support and together, provide real HOPE for Japan!"

March Stamp of the Month

I have been MIA for awhile.  My Mom fell and broke her pelvis so I went to California help her.  While with her I had time to play.  Here is a card I made with the March stamp "Sensational Seasons".  I have to admit I wasn't thirlled when I first saw this stamp, but when I started to stamp with it I was hooked...these bunnies are just to stinkin' CUTE:)

I used the new Sophia paper pack, Pear, Blush, Chocolate, Black and Outdoor Denim ink pads.  To color this little cutie I used my blending pen and picked up color from the lid of my stamp pads, since I did not have my pens.

It is good to be home!  Thanks for hopping by:)
