August 2014 Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! We will be featuring August's SOTM, which is What a Hoot, a set of 17 stamps. This is such a cute set!  It will be great for Halloween but not limited to just that.

New Catalog Open House

Our new Idea Book is out and I want to share it with you, so I am having an Open House.  I am so excited about the new products.  I will have some available to look at and touch.  We will be playing with some of the new products with the Make n Take.

She Colors Seashells

I had a chance to play with our new Shinhan Markers and a new stamp set called Treasured Friendship.  I got my idea for this card from Theresa Momber's video.  I colored the shell stamp using our new Shinhan markers....love these guys!!!  I colored the background with a sponge and stamp pad.  The grass and birds I added freehand with a marker.  

Our new markers will be available on August 1st along with the release of our new Idea Book.

Convention Last Day

Saturday was the last day of convention and it was packed full of fun.  To start the morning off right there was the CTMH 5K through California Adventure Park before it opened.  It was fun to be there without crowds of people.  Here is my walking partner Katy and I ...

Next up was the Extravaganza, where chosen consultants are sent new product to use and make the most amazing things.....love this part of convention.....My pictures were not that great...I was so excited as was everyone else it was hard to find space and time to get good pictures.  This is a just a small example of what was shown!!

Next was a creative session....I forgot to take pictures of what we made but here is some artwork that was shared.

We then at our last creative and closing session, where we did a surprise flash mob for Jeannette Lynton owner/CEO and the Corporate Staff:)  FUN

After that we had our final and delicious meal....

Then the party was over:(   So now you can see why I have PCB (Post Convention Blues)!!

I have PCB!

I have "Post Convention Blues"....I had such an awesome time hanging out with like minded people and creating and learning about all the new products that will be coming out in August and I have to admit I am feeling a little blue.....it is hard coming back to the real world after all that fun!!!!

I wanted to share some of my adventure with you.  On Wednesday we registered and then had our Scatterhearts team meeting...here is a group picture...

Thursday was the big reveal day....we got to hear about the new products and we got our bag with the new Idea Book and a bunch of new products.  Here are the super cute bags our things came in.....it is a backpack also;)

This is some of the goodies we got!!

We had Business and creative sessions where made some beautiful cards and a bracelet using the new products...The cards were cut with the new Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge which will be available sometime in August..cannot wait to get my hands on it!!!

This is my bangle we made with the new Base and Bling products.  It took all of 5 minutes to make the hardest part was deciding which quote to use;) 

Friday was another great day of classes and that evening was the Awards Banquet.  Here is the special stamp set that was at each of our place settings...

Wonderfully yummy food..we had a salad to start but I forgot to get a picture.

An entertaining Awards ceremony and even some entertainment.

It was a great evening!  Tomorrow I will post what we did on Saturday.
