September 2014 Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! We will be featuring August's SOTM, which is Family is Forever, a set of 7 stamps. This is such a cute set!

If you have come here from Terry Ann Diack's Blog, you are on the right path! If this is your first stop, you may want to go back to Miranda's Blog and start from the beginning! This month we have close to 80 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go.....

Here my artwork I made:

I heat embossed the flower randomly on Daisy White cardstock with white embossing powder.  I then used 2 of our new colors to sponge ink over the embossed design.  It resists the ink so that the flowers pop.  I then cut a banner and stamped the sentiment and adhered with foam tape and applied sequins to give it a bit of bling:)  I am loving our sequins!!!

I used the following products:
S1409 Family is Forever stamp
X5770 Glacier Cardstock
1385 Daisy White Cardstock
Z264 Thistle Stamp Pad
Z2641 Glacier Stamp Pad
Z2105 Black Stamp Pad
Z891 VersaMark Stamp Pad
Z2068 Ranger White Embossing Powder
Z2013 Silver Sequin Assortment
Z697 Sponge

Chalk it up

I had some Chalk It Up Paper and used it to make this card....

I also used the new teal glitter paper and cut my banner using the Artiste Cricut cartridge.  I stamped the sentiment with the Glitter Glam stamp set
I love this fun paper.

More Graphic Technique

I am loving this simple dramatic technique.....I whipped up some more cards and I used the September SOTM to make them.

Graphic Stamping

I am taking the Stretch Your Stamps 2 Online Card Class and if you want to learn some wonderful techniques presented by amazing artists this is the place.  Day 7 was Graphic Stamps and Debby Hughes taught a simple but wonderful technique that I had to try.  This technique is perfect for making a bunch of cards.  Here are the cards I have made.

I used our new ink colors and the Glitter Glam Stamp set to stamp the "graphic" collage.  The stamp sets I used for the sentiments were, My Happy, Guiding Heart, Glitter Glam and May Stamp of the Month You've Got a Friend, sorry it is not available.  I used the following embellishments, Aqua Dots, Flamingo Dots, White Enamel Stars and Silver Bling Gems.

These were so fun to make and I love how they turned out.

If you have come from Donna Digby's Blog in are on the right path.  I have to say I am so in love with the new papers and products in this catalog.  I love your new Shinhan markers and I am a absolutely smitten with our newest frame.  It is a red magnetic chalkboard....oh be still my beating heart;)

I have so many ideas flowing through my head but I settled on one for now.  I made a calendar that can be changed.

I used the following products:
Z2006 Designed Decor Red Magnetic Chalkboard
X7188B Snowhaven Paper Pack (LOVE the Glacier, cranberry and white daisy combo)
Z1966 Base & Bling Glass Covers
Z679 Liquid Glass
I cut the calendar frame, letters and numbers using my new Cricut Explore and wanted to use the Artbooking cartridge but could not figure out how to get it to work so I used one of the projects in Cricut Design Studio.  When I learn how to get to my CTMH cartridges I will change it;)

I used magnetic sheets to to make everything removable and changeable...love that...I can change it with the seasons!! I made glass magnets using the beautiful Snowhaven paper to back them.
