More TP

.....rolls that is!  I am taking a Bind-it-All 101 class at My Creative Classroom.

I have had my BIA for years and have only used it occasionally so I decided to take this class and 2 others that start in Dec.  Here is one of the things we were taught to make using TP rolls:

....I have been using more than my share of TP and paper towels just so I can make some more;)  They are so easy just flatten the rolls and cover in paper. I sealed the edge I was going to bind, but the really don't have to.  I also sealed the cover right edge..I left the back page open for my tag.  I used the CTMH Believe Paper pack, which I LOVE!!

I think they are stinkin cute..no pun intended.

Thanks for hopping by:)

It's Black and White!

I was playing with the Holiday Wishes stamp set and stamped the ornament in black and then sat there trying to decide what to do next and decided that I should go with an elegant "black tie" look (so not me).  I like how this turned out even though it is not my traditional green and red Christmas colors!! I think it is quite elegant and maybe even a bit classy....for my more elegant and classy friends;)

Thanks for hopping by:)

I am a Traditional Girl!

Let me explain.... I am a traditional red and green Christmas girl.  I really do not like using other colors for Christmas, but I decided I needed to step out of my traditional box and try something untraditional so here it goes....

Sorry to say I am really not feeling the Christmas spirit with this card, but I tried it;)  Now back into my box I go......

Birthday Wishes

Here's a card I made for my Aunt Fran who turns the big 8...0 on Friday.  Happy Birthday Aunt Fran:)

Too Fun

Sometimes when creating it is just not there.  I thought and thought all day about how to make a card for a co-worker's baby who just turned one.....and nothing was coming to me.  I got out different stamp sets and just stared and NOTHING;(  So I walked away...cooked and ate dinner, walked the dog, took my shower and then... poof just like that... I remember I had some cute little Cricut monkeys I made for a customer (I made extras for me)  and then it started to flow.  I cut the card, the #1 and mats with the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.  The monkeys were cut with Life's a Party cartridge.  I was so excited when I was finished I was jumping around going "look what I just made..isn't is the cuteset"  as my son looked at me like I had lost what mind I had left;)  Sometimes guys just don't get us.
Anyway here is the card I think is is just too stinkin' CUTE and it was oh so easy once the idea came to my fimble mind!

Thanks for hopping by:)

My Life List Journal

As I mentioned last month, I am taking Tracy Weinzapfel's "Life List Challenge".  Here is one of pages I completed.

We had Panda Express last week and my fortune cookie read "You are an adventurer", which I thought was just perfect for this page:)

Thanks for hopping by:)

My Inner Artist

So, I am trying to uncover my inner artist..I know she is in there somewhere;)
I have been taking some online art classes and I just wanted to share some of my "art".

I am currently taking a class called Supplies Me taught by Jane Davenport.  I am just getting started, but here's my first attempt at drawing faces in 3 different shapes.  Remember this is just a practice sheet I did while watching her video.  I have to admit I am totally in awe of how simple it is to draw a face when given the proper instructions and breaking it down into sections.

Jane is such a joyful person and her teaching style is so encouraging and fun, she makes you believe that you can draw!  Now I have to break out my colored pencils and get to work on making my girls pretty and practice. practice , practice:)

Thanks for hopping by..now get out there and CREATE;)

Play Time

Here's a card set I made using the tutorial by Aaron Booth.  These are so fun to make:)

I used the Roxie Paper, Remarkable Wreath Stamp Set (love this stamp set) and cut the cards and mats with the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge.  Have I said how much I love that cartridge!!!  I even cut envelopes to match the cards (oops should of taken a picture of them).

Thanks for hopping by..now go do something CREATIVE;)
