July 2014 Stamp of the Month

Somehow I did not get added to the list for the bloghop this month, but I did my post so here it is:)  July's SOTM, is Circus Alphabet, a set of 68 stamps. This is a great set for everything....I love alphabet stamps and this one is very fun and whimsical.

Here is 3 cards I made:

This first one I used the alphabet to make a background....I randomly placed the letters on a big block and stamped them.  I stamped hi and cut it out, popped it up and added glitter glue.

These nest 2 are cards I made using the Free to Be Me paper from the May special.  These cards are for my Mom's neighbors who take such good care of her.

I used the following products:

S1407 Circus Alphabet
X5752 Juniper Cardstock
Z2165 juniper Stamp pad
Z2196 Smoothie Stamp Pad
Free to Be Me paper
Z1702 Paradise Twine
Z1883  Base & Bling Floral Accents

More Swap Cards

Here are a couple more cards I made to swap at convention.

This first one is another swing card from the Artiste Cricut Cartridge.  I used the  Ivy Lane paper pack and I have to admit I was not crazy about this paper when I saw it, but I am growing to love it.

My next card is was inspired by a Christine Adams card.  Her work in just amazing and I was going to make mine just like hers but being the simple and fast kind of girl I just had to simplify it.  Here is my simple take on her gorgeous card.  I used the beautiful Jubilee paper....it is my favorite from this catalog and our Kraft cardstock..another favorite.  I cut the sentiment shape with my Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge.

Oh Snap

I love the camera on the Artiste Cricut cartridge and wanted to make some cards.  I also love rainbows so I combined the 2 to make these cards.  I used Liquid Glass for the lens on the top one and Glitz Glitter Gel on the bottom one...I like the Liquid Glass lens better.  The sentiment is also from the Artiste cartridge. The background was made using the One Way Border Stamp set in a rainbow of colors.

Happy 25th

I saw this idea on Jennifer McGuire's Youtube video and had to give it a try.  I used my Artbooking Cricut cartridge to cut out my numbers...I cut them a 1 1/2 inch.

My 25 is cut from the Jubilee Paper Pack and then pop dotted it up. I embossed my sentiment with white embossing powder to make it pop.  I love the look of this card and plan on making more!
