Close to My Heart Christmas Card Blog Hop

Here are the cards I have made:

I got on the shaker card bandwagon with my first card. I cut the snow globe into a 4x5.25 inch piece of cardstock and used that as my window. 

I used the following:

I inked the background for the shaker card using various inks and a sponge. For the sand I added dots with my ShinHan markers

November 2017 Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

I wanted to see if I could make a card using this set and here is what I created: 

I used the following:

Z3332 Prickly Pear Stamp set
Z2832 Pewter Stamp Pad
Z3132 Watercolor Set
Z3366 Silver Foil Paper
1385 Daisy White Cardstock

The Silver Foil paper does not show very well in the photo but is pretty in real life.  I used the watercolors to color the cake.  The Happy Birthday is from retiring stamp set Prickly Pear.

Here's is what I made using these darling stamps and dies:

I cut my frame with my Cricut in Design Space because I just love cards with animals and characters peeping out of the windows.  I  used stamp set C1716 Stronger Together to stamp the sentiment.  Proceeds form the sale of this stamp go to the Red Cross to help with all the victims of the recent hurricanes.

Holiday Expressions New Product Blog Hop

Oh boy....I am so excited about this Holiday Expression Idea Book ...there are so many beautiful new products just for the holidays.

There are more that 20 of us Close to My Heart consultants that are taking part in this hop show so off the new products.  So grab some coffee and hop along.  If you came here from Brenda Lapp's Blog you are on the right track.

Here is what I made:

For these first 2 cards I used the Prince of Peace stamp set and varied the background.  for the first one I used the Buffalo Plaid embossing folder (love this folder) and the second I used the Beary Christmas Paper pack.  i stamped the image with Black Memento Ink an then used ink pads to watercolor the images. 

This last two card also uses the Prince of Peace stamp set and the Splash of Color stamp set.  I stamped the "paint splotch" and then stamped the image with Memento Ink.   I matted it with black cardstock.
