Annual Christmas Card Workshop

Back by popular demand my annual Christmas Card Workshop.  We will be making 50 cards (10 each of 5 designs).  This year I challenged myself to make the cards using the new CTMH Artistry Cricut Cartridge.  I made 3 with just Artistry and made 2 more using Artiste and Artfully Sent.

Artistry Christmas

I love my Cricut and I especially LOVE my Close To My Close cartridges!!  Our newest member of the family is the Artistry cartridge...love love love.  Here are a couple of Christmas cards I made using this cartridge.  

These cards were so easy to make.  I designed them in Cricut Design Space and cut them out and put them together.  Easy peasy!

I did stamp some snow on the the bottom one in the background using the new Charming Cascades Background stamps.  The only thing left to do is stamp the sentiment inside and they are ready to be sent.

This first card I literally copied Aaron Booth's layout fun watercolor technique (I loved it so much) to create a card.

Here is my version of her technique.

This next card I put watercolor on my non-stick mat and then placed the paper down in it.  

These sets are very versatile and can be used in any type of project not just the ones they are created for.  You will most likely want them ALL!!!

September 2015 Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Here is the card I made:

 On this card I made a background with second generation stamping and then cut the flowers using the new Artistry cartridge and stamped them.  

 This was done with the background stamped with full strength. 

This card I embossed with clear embossing powder and the used our new watercolors toe make the background.
